Our services
Personal Assistance
Help with the parts of your day where you want a hand. Support can include:
- Getting dressed, bathing and grooming
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Moving safely around your home
- Light household tasks
- Reminders for daily routines
Support looks different for everyone. One person may want help setting out what they need to make lunch, then make it themselves. Another may want hands-on help preparing it.
Before services begin, we ask how you prefer to communicate, what you like to do for yourself, where you would like help, and what makes a visit work well for you. The help we provide depends on what you want support with and what Alta authorizes.
In-Home Respite
Temporary support and supervision at home for adults with developmental disabilities who live with family, so the family member who usually provides care can take a break.
Your routine stays the same. If Saturday means breakfast, a favorite show and a walk around the block, a caregiver from our team keeps that routine going while your family caregiver steps out.
What our caregivers do not do
Our services are non-medical. Caregivers do not give injections, provide wound care or administer medication. They can give medication reminders when included in your plan.
How to get started

Scheduling your visits in advance helps us keep your caregivers consistent. Share your regular days and times, and let us know as early as possible if your schedule changes.
Can I call before I have Alta authorization?
Yes. Call us with questions anytime. Services begin only after your Service Coordinator sends written authorization.
What happens after my referral is submitted?
Our team reviews the referral, then contacts you to talk about your preferences, schedule and caregiver availability. Start dates depend on authorization and staffing.
